Position Overview

The Diversity & Inclusion Administrator supports the development of sustainable relationships with diverse community-based partner organizations, groups and networks in the Ameren Illinois service territory and the introduction to opportunities in energy efficiency. The Administrator is accountable for the tracking and maintenance of all diversity program documents. This position is responsible for removing all administrative barriers related to vendor registration, certifications, compliance, and education.

Position Requirements, Education and Experience

Position Requirements

· Assist with all outreach event coordination from initiation to follow-up including tracking promotion, RSVPs, securing venues, coordination room preparation, and food service

· Support efforts to identify a diverse group of suppliers who will participate in the procurement of opportunities in the Ameren Illinois service territory

· Help to promote the diversity profile of Ameren Illinois customers who participate in energy efficiency programs

· Provide assistance to the Marketing team to support participation in trade shows and seminar events

· Utilize internal tracking tools to drive positive program outcomes

· Create/modify documents utilizing Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Education and Experience

· High school diploma or equivalent required

· Associates degree in Business, Administration, or a related field of study preferred

· Minimum of 2 years of Administrative and Customer Service experience required

· Minimum of 1 year of experience in Marketing, Community Organizing, or Event Coordination preferred

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities

· Strong ability to multi-task and handle frequent interruptions to work flow

· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work independently

· Evidence of computer proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

· Demonstrated planning and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple, changing priorities

· Capacity to analyze and interpret data utilizing Microsoft Office tools

· Ability to operate effectively in a collaborative work environment
